Jimmy Walker is a long time veteran competitor and probably does more shows in a year than some riders will do in their lifetime. He is by far one of the smoothest in the pro BMX vert class. He has an amazing style and can just float and fly through every single inch of a ramp, no matter how large or small. He is known in the industry for his carving style and the fact that he is able to do several different variations in one air. He has a knack for linking all of his tricks together into unique lines or runs and almost seems to ride in every show as if it were a championship contest run. Another claim to fame for Mr. Walker is that he is able to do all of his variations at great heights, and is definitely a threat at any high air competition. In 2003 he was ranked as the # 2 vert rider in the world. In 2006, he finished in the top 10 in overall points on the NBC Dew Tour. In addition to being a pro rider, Jimmy is also a businessman. He runs a skatepark in the west Chicago suburbs called Scrap. When not manning the park or riding, you can bet he's on the interstate somewhere driving to his next contest or demo.
