Born and raised in southern California, Zach Miller is no stranger to the skateboarding scene. Zach started skating when he was 3 years old and first dropped in vert at the age of 9. Though, this feat is no surprise to most. Zach has skateboarding skills in his blood; his dad is legendary professional skateboarder Chris Miller.
Zach (nicknamed “Miller Lite”) cites his dad as one of his biggest influences and acknowledges how grateful he is for the opportunities he has because of his dad’s success. But it takes more than just good genes and a well known name to make a mark on the competitive skateboard scene. Zach has a passion for the sport that fuels his natural talent. Zach thrives in contests because he enjoys the challenge and their ability to help him progress as an athlete. But when it comes down to it, Zach’s main concern is always having fun and enjoying skateboarding in its natural setting.
Now 19 years old Zach has not only started to go head to head in friendly competition with his dad (the two recently battled in Bucky’s Backyard Bowl-B-Q), but he is also making his way up in the skateboard ranks. With so much raw talent in his veins and a pure love for the sport, Zach will be one to watch in the coming years.
